Medical Aid Purchases
Please note the “Cash Price” reflected on our website is in lieu of a cash or full electronic bank payment. It does not include additional costs associated with the processing and administration of a medical aid/insurance fund claim. Managing and including such additional costs effectively is crucial to the financial health and sustainability of any medical practice.
The “Medical Aid Tariff” includes:
- Administration costs related to the gathering of medical information and documentation to compile motivations.
- Time spent by our medically qualified personnel to the drafting of a trustworthy medically correct application.
- Costs incurred by medical switch & claims processing software, HPCSA registration/compliance and Professional Indemnity Insurance and general practice overheads.
